Our Policies

It is our expectation that guests holidaying at Wallara will totally enjoy their stay in our lovely beach house, and therefore we must have some simple rules to ensure this is the case:

  • A maximum of 8 adults and 4 children (unless specifically approved in writing by the owners)

  • No smoking

  • One pet allowed on request and at an additional charge

  • No parties or weddings – never more than 8 adults allowed in the premises at one time

  • Noise to be kept to a level that is consistent with a residential area

  • An initial 50% rental deposit is requested on booking

  • A bond of $1,000 is requested with the second and final 50% rental deposit 30 days out.

  • Cancellation of a booking outside of 30 days will be fully refunded. Bookings cancelled between 15 and 30 days will receive a 50% refund. Inside of 15 days there will be no refund. The bond of $1000 will be refunded.

  •  The bond will be fully refunded within 14 days of check-out provided Wallara policies have not been breached and there has been no damage to the house, its gardens or its contents.

Check-out time: 10.00am

An earlier check-in or later check-out time may be arranged close to the booking dates provided they don’t clash with other guests

Wallara’s caretakers live only a short distance from the house and ensure that the house is clean and well stocked and that the policies are being adhered to by our guests.
